LIVE UP The only media-led campaign on HIV/AIDS to reach the entire Caribbean

The region’s first coordinated media response has developed into a movement. We've trained more than 2000 broadcasters, producing hundreds of Public Service Campaigns, other radio, TV magazine and feature programmes. The LIVE UP coordinated campaign has changed the Caribbean health promotion and media landscape and made a significant contribution to the HIV response in the region.

Community Assets. Creative Collaboration.

Member broadcasters contribute by donating free airtime to messaging and programming, which fall under the "LIVE UP" banner. An estimate of their contributed annual airtime is US$25 Million. While broadcasters’ airtime is donated to LIVE UP materials, LIVE UP still requires funding to provide training and produce materials and campaigns. Any organisation contracting LIVE UP’s services will share in this pool of contributed airtime.

LIVE UP: The Caribbean Media Alliance is collaborating with the Pan Caribbean Partnership against HIV and AIDS (PANCAP) and Scotiabank, in 21 Caribbean territories, in promoting Regional HIV Testing Day June 30, 2017.
